For those baptized as infants or young children, we practice confirmation around for children aged 13-15. To prepare for confirmation, candidates spend up to two years meeting with the pastor and others in the congregation to deepen their understanding of the faith, study Scripture and Lutheran tradition, and participate more deeply in worship. At the conclusion of their preparation, the candidates affirm the promises that their parents made for them at their baptism.
